Apps (local preview only)
Union Point Productions

You already have a process. It just isn't built yet.

Small web apps for founders, authors and practitioners. Three features or fewer, one job, built properly. Not software. A thing that works.

  • Three features or fewer. The rule, not the limitation.
  • Web based. Nothing to install, opens on a phone.
  • Your domain, your brand, your data.
  • Scoped before it is priced. Always.
Proof, not a mockup

Use it first. It's live right now.

Threshold is a working app we built and run. Open it on your phone while you read this. Nothing on this page is a rendering.

The build

Threshold

An assessment app. Ten questions in the owner's own language, a named result at the end, and everyone who finishes lands in the CRM tagged by which result they got.

Behind the free tier sits a paid membership at $47 a month. Same app, one gate.

Open Threshold
What it actually does
  • Asks the questions the owner would ask in the room
  • Names the result instead of scoring it out of ten
  • Captures the email at the reveal, not at the door
  • Tags every finisher in the CRM by result
  • Runs a paid tier behind the same login
What people ask us for

Three shapes, over and over.

The assessment

Questions in your language, a named result, and everyone who finishes landing in your CRM tagged by what they got. The quiz that does the qualifying you currently do on calls.

The client room

A private page per client. What you sent them, what they did with it, where they are now. Instead of a folder, a thread and your memory.

The one job

The thing you do every week in a spreadsheet, an email and three browser tabs. Named, counted, and built once so it stops costing you the same hour.

Why three features

Everything that dies, dies of feature four.

Most apps built for a small business never get used. Not because they were built badly. Because they were built to do six things, and doing six things means every one of them is half-finished on the day it ships.

So we cap it. Three features or fewer, chosen on The Breakdown, written down before anything is built. If a fourth idea arrives mid-build it goes on a list for later, not into this one.

You can always add. You cannot un-ship a thing nobody opens.

The cap is what makes it finish. That is the entire product.

How it goes

Four steps, and you can stop after the first.

01

The Breakdown

A working session where we map what the app should do, name and count the features, and write down what it costs to build and what it costs to run. You leave with a one-page roadmap. $500, and it comes off the build in full.

02

The build

We build the three features and nothing else. You see it while it is being made, not at the end. Two rounds of revisions are included.

03

Handover

It goes live on your domain, wired to your CRM, with your brand on it. You get a walkthrough recording and the logins.

04

Care

Hosting, updates and someone to call when something breaks. Optional, monthly, cancel whenever.

Pricing

No app gets a price before it gets a scope.

Anyone who quotes you an app without mapping it first is guessing, and you will pay for the guess later. So the number below is where builds start, and the session that produces your actual number costs $500 and credits back in full.

The Breakdown

$500Credits in full toward the build

A working session that maps what the app should do, names and counts the features, and puts build and running costs in writing. You leave with a one-page roadmap that is yours whether or not you build with us.

Your Own App

from $5,000Priced after The Breakdown

Three features or fewer, built, branded, wired to your CRM and live on your domain. Two rounds of revisions included. The real number comes out of the session, not off a page.

Start with The Breakdown

Care

from $250Per month, optional

Hosting, updates, monitoring and someone who answers when something breaks. Starts at $250 for a single app and rises with what it has to hold. Prepay the year and you pay for ten months. Cancel any time.

Ask about care

Two rounds of revisions are included in every build. Extra rounds are $250 each. If the scope that comes out of The Breakdown is bigger than three features, we will tell you on the call and quote it honestly rather than shrinking it to fit the price.

Before you book

The questions we get most.

What do I actually get for the $500?
A 60-minute working session and a one-page roadmap in writing: what the app does, the three features named and counted, what it costs to build, and what it costs to run each month. It is yours to take anywhere. If you build with us, the $500 comes off the build in full.
Why won't you just quote me now?
Because two people describing "a client portal" mean two different builds, and the gap between them is thousands of dollars. Quoting before scoping means one of us is absorbing the difference, and it is usually you.
What if I need more than three features?
Then you need more than one build, and we will say so on the call. Usually the honest answer is that one of the six things you listed is the one that matters and the other five are habits. Finding that out is what the session is for.
Is this a real app or a website with forms?
A real web app. Accounts, saved data, logic, payment gates if you need them. It runs in a browser rather than an app store, which is why it can be live in weeks instead of months and does not need Apple's permission to change.
Do I own it?
Yes. Your domain, your data, your brand, your logins. The care plan is a service, not a leash. Cancel it and the app is still yours.
How long does a build take?
Most three-feature builds run four to six weeks from the day the scope is signed. The Breakdown gives you the actual date, not a range.
I already have a website. Does this replace it?
No. It sits alongside it, usually on a subdomain. If the website itself is the problem, that is a different conversation and a different offer.

Bring the thing you keep doing by hand.

One session. We name it, count it, cost it, and you leave with the roadmap either way.
